Then build up to have a huge finale. Plant information that suggests that Paulie was a turn coat and either working for NY or for the Feds. Plant information that Meadow was going to die. Do everything you can in the episode to build up to that in the finale. Then write an episode that hints and builds up to that information. Then at the end of the show, do the unthinkable: let Tony live, but have him die a coward's death by being afraid of everyone and everything. While keeping the movie concept alive.
